Justin Everts, RN, MSN, CHRNC

Justin comes to us most recently from Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Citrus County. He began his career over two-decades ago in the diving and hyperbaric industry while serving on active duty with the US Navy as a diving & hyperbaric mixed gas supervisor and quality assurance inspector, deployed in Scotland, Italy, and the Mediterranean theater during the Gulf War. During his military service he obtained a degree in marketing management and became a Florida and national certified EMT. After his transition from the military, Justin achieved an Associate of Science Registered Nursing degree and a Bachelor of Science study in Psychology. He ultimately returned to post graduate school for a Master of Science in nursing.
Justin’s clinical experience combines emergency medicine, hyperbaric nursing, critical care, wound care,, and behavioral health. Justin has held several directorships, quality assurance roles, and consulting positions within the healthcare industry. He is one of eight certified hyperbaric registered nurse clinician’s nationally.
Justin is a board member of the Baromedical Nurses Association (BNA) and a member and surveyor for the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society Accreditation Council,, a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society Member, AHA ACLS/BLS instructor/ training center coordinator, and serves on the operating board of the Citrus County American Cancer Society.
