Health.edu Offers CE and non-CE Couse Series: "Healthcare Spanish"Communication is a cornerstone of patient safety and quality care. When a patient understands what is being said about his or her care, that patient is more likely to fulfill critical health care responsibilities.

Health.edu promotes effective communication, cultural competence and patient-center care with a new "Healthcare Spanish" course series. The first course in the series, "Healthcare Spanish: Introduction, premiered July 1 and includes common greetings and basic vocabulary (days of the week, months and numbers as well as pronunciation guides).

In August, "Healthcare Spanish: Office Visit," "Spanish Vocabulary: Introductory" and "Spanish Vocabulary: Office Visit" will premiere.
