I know you sometimes hear complaints from patients and their families, but I thought I would drop you a note to let you know of our very pleasant first encounter with your hospital.
My husband came into the Ambulatory Surgery Center yesterday for prostate surgery that was done by the very competent Dr. Kumar, who is now a part of Dr. Zelneronok’s office. The nursing staff (Gwen, Karen and Earleen) went out of their way to make both of us feel welcome and comfortable. Needless to say, my husband was very anxious prior to his surgery, but all of the staff in the pre-op area were polite, upbeat, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
I didn’t know before the surgery if my husband (Jim) would be able to go home that day, but by 9:10 a.m. (the surgery was scheduled for 8:30 a.m.), Dr. Kumar came to advise me that all went very well and that he could go home as soon as he felt able to. We were home by 1:00 p.m.!
I can’t say enough good things about our first experience at your hHospital, but it was a first impression that will last a long time.
