Dr. Pena Joins Medical StaffAwilda M. Pena, MD • Internal Medicine
Awilda M. Pena, MD has been appointed to the medical staff at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center with privileges in internal medicine. The hospital’s governing board confirmed her appointment in July.
Dr. Pena, board eligible in internal medicine, received her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY where she was named resident of the year three years in a row. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
